Day four

today anjali went for a walk with mom and dad and uncle ajay, and helped the kalia brothers beat jen, matt and mom at trivial pursuit.

Three days old

Today Anjali is three days old and she went to the pediatrician, had her first walk in the Baby Bjorn, and met her uncle Ajay. She loved the walk and Uncle Ajay, but she didn't really like the doctor because he poked and prodded her. The doc said everything is going well despite some slight jaundice.

Anjali's first few days

Anjali was a week late but when she decided to arrive she came into the world eagerly. Claire was admitted to hospital around 11am and Anjali was born less than eight hours later. Here are some pics of her first hour of life.

The next day Anjali got a lot of visitors and she loved the attention!

Welcome Anjali Elizabeth Kalia!

Anjali was born at 6:40 pm on Saturday January 5 2008 in at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco. She weighed 7 lb 10 oz and measured 19.5 inches long.

Baby shower

This weekend was the baby shower and Anjali got a ton of gorgeous gifts. She is going to be one spoiled girl - and definitely better dressed than her parents!

33 weeks along

This weekend we went hiking in the Gold Country and finally decided on a name: Anjali Elizabeth Kalia.
