Smiles, football teams and st paddys gear

Weighing over ten pounds and measuring almost two feet long, Anjali is growing well but is still only a very tiny human. She smiles now when you play with her but she quickly gets tired of playing. She will never say no to a snack though, and she loves being cuddled and rocked. Her favorite toys are her swing and her ladybug mobile.

Week five: Pets, polls and butterflies

Anjali enjoyed the butterflies at Auntie Rupe's house!

Anjali went with her mommy to vote in the California primaries - it was a first for both of them!

This week Anjali met Jen's dog Sarah for the first time. Sarah was friendly but Anjali was suspicious.

Meeting 6-month old Anna (baby of Anil's colleague) for the first time was lots of fun - though Anjali was pretty oblivious!

Anjali is now 2 weeks old and is enjoying hanging out with her Smith grandparents - she is staying with them for a little while. She also just met her Kalia grandparents, who came to visit from Houston last week. They took her to Stanford (and tried to persuade her to go to school there!). She also went to an Italian and a Chinese restaurant with them. She did not enjoy her first bath though!

today anjali went for a walk with mom and dad and uncle ajay, and helped the kalia brothers beat jen, matt and mom at trivial pursuit.
